I have thought about this and whether ignorance is actually bliss. Sometimes it seems like a curse to know more (maybe not everything) as then you know more about what you may be missing out on. My expectations are often higher and disappointment greater. The less you know, the less you expect?

Speaking objectively, it would be terrible to know nothing because then you would be a vegetable. You wouldn't know how to talk, eat, go to the bathroom, etc... So technically it would be better to know everything because then you would at least be able to perform basic functions.
